Problem
Enterprise organisations managing $100M to $50B+ in liquidity often struggled with reactive treasury operations, constantly responding to cash flow crises instead of optimising funds.
Limited real-time visibility hampered profitability and payment ability, while treasury teams focused on ad hoc analysis rather than strategic planning. Lacking predictive tools, they missed chances to improve yield, reduce risk, and align liquidity with broader business goals.
As the solo product design lead, I designed an AI-powered treasury management system to help organisations with $100M to $50B+ in liquidity shift from reactive to proactive financial planning. The challenge was designing intuitive interfaces that clearly presented AI insights and predictive analytics, earning trust from CFOs and Treasury Directors, while ensuring easy adoption for teams managing billions in daily cash flows.
Research
Treasury professionals face errors, data gaps, and inefficiencies from Excel-based, siloed processes, leading to poor visibility, higher costs, and increased fraud risk.
CFOs and Treasury Directors are frustrated by their inability to shift from reactive to proactive planning, highlighting the need for an AI-driven solution that provides real-time insights and integrates smoothly with existing systems.
Solution
My solution consolidated treasury data into a user-friendly dashboard with multi-currency support, eliminating Excel errors. AI-driven analytics and smart alerts enabled proactive decision-making, while integrated tools broke down information silos.

This project showed me that effective enterprise design balances advanced features with simplicity and creativity, transforming treasury management into a proactive, strategic function by making AI insights accessible and trustworthy for decision-makers.
